A Pacific Northwest Native, I’ve called Fox Island home since 1999. After obtaining a degree in Interior Architecture at the University of Oregon, I worked 15 years for two large architectural firms and lastly at Nike headquarters in Beaverton – lots of retail marketing, store design and careful study of “why we buy”. That’s just the abbreviated resume!
Marriage, a move to this area, a much needed desire for less travel, and a personal interest in real estate were great reasons to switch up my career path. I never planned for my education, negotiating, and project management skills to play such a significant role in my real estate consulting relationships. It is this experience that has given me the edge over my competition.
Beginning in 2000 as a buying and selling REALTOR®, BROKER®, OWNER currently at the Windermere Gig Harbor Downtown office, I know the Puget Sound region well and have built an invaluable network of resources that is critical when it comes to getting things done for my clients.
I’ll admit that while I moved here for love, the other “hook” was the environment. I’m crazy about all things saltwater and it happens to be everywhere! In my time here I’ve lived on it, near it, and above it! Either way, you’ll always have the opportunity to pass by and over with easy access to it.
In my free time I can be found in my outrigger canoe, paddle boarding, boating, fishing, playing golf, or just taking in the fresh air with friends and family!

With over 23 years of real estate experience alone, I know that no two transactions are ever the same. Each requires in-depth industry knowledge, good standing broker to broker relationships, and the ability to quickly think on one’s feet to solve the “first time ever” challenges that happen and should be expected!
I hold my SRES designation, equipping me to understand those approaching 50 and 50+. In addition, I have a RENE certificate and am trained in negotiations – a certificate that less than 15% of Realtors hold. Lastly, I recently completed NINJA business certification. The short of it all is that my education is ongoing and critical to better serve my clients.
Design Education and Experience
I understand the importance of selling homes through the correct presentation. First, I understand the demographic you are appealing to. Secondly, I know you must create an emotional connection for the buyer as they first see the home virtually and then, hopefully, physically. It goes without saying that homes staged sell for more and quicker than those that aren’t. Not all staging and home presentations are equal and/or necessary. With an initial walk-through, I am well equipped to evaluate.
